Booking guide: Portrait Booth

Payment and refund policy

  • Payment: your full balance is due at the time of booking.
  • Refunds: full refund (minus the card processing fee) if cancelled at least 60 days before the event. No refunds after that.
  • Extra time: $250 per hour, billed after the event if needed.

Your package includes 4 hours; pick a start time and the end time fills in for you. Need it longer? Choose a later end time and the extra hours are added to your invoice at $250 per hour. Setup and teardown are never taken from your booth time.

Venues, hotels, restaurants and attractions from our Island Guide fill in with their street info. For a home or anywhere else, just type where it is.
Requires about a 10'x10' area with power within 25 feet.

Customize your booth

A rough count is fine. We'll build a schedule from it.
For example 9 am to 1 pm, or two sessions around lunch.
Retouching is natural; we don't reshape faces or bodies.
Standard delivery is within 10 days. Need them before the event ends? Add on-site post-production below.
Advertising use needs a signed release from each person photographed; we bring the forms.

Payment and agreement

After you submit, you'll get a link to pay by card. Never send card numbers by email or in this form.
You can send the request now; the Texas sales tax exemption certificate has to be on file before the date is confirmed.

The person whose signature appears on this booking, known as "Client," agrees that Galveston Photo Booth Rentals ("Company") will provide photo booth services to the best of its abilities in the manner described in this agreement. This is a binding contract which incorporates the entire understanding of the parties; any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.

Service period

Company agrees to keep the photo booth operational for at least 80% of the booked period; occasionally operations may be interrupted for maintenance.

Payment

To hold your date, full payment is due upon signing. Card payments include the card processor's fee, passed through at cost (about 3%). Client is liable for any overage of the booked time at the event, billed in one-hour increments. Client agrees to pay a $150 fee for any returned check.

Changes and cancellations

Any request for a date, time or location change must be made in writing at least sixty (60) days before the original event date and is subject to availability and a new booking. If there is no availability for the alternate date, time or location, 50% of the contract is refunded, less the card processing fee, and no services are provided. Any cancellation less than sixty days before the event forfeits all payments received.

Parking

Client provides parking for Company's vehicle near the venue, including any permit or pass needed, before the event date.

Access, space and power

Client arranges a level, solid space of at least 15' by 15' for the photo booth and ensures access is possible. A booth may be placed outdoors only if protected from the weather. Client provides power to the booth: 110V, 10 amps, 3-prong outlet.

WiFi

Social media and online gallery features require a venue internet connection of at least 10 Mb. Company is not responsible for reduced sharing features when venue internet falls below that.

Online gallery

On receiving the download link, Client accepts responsibility for archiving and protecting the photos. Company is not responsible for the lifespan of digital media provided.

Print design

Company designs the printout from Client-supplied logos, fonts and other elements, and provides a draft and one revision; additional revisions are billed at $150 per hour.

Model release

Company may use images produced with its photo booth under this agreement to promote the Company and for other good-faith business purposes, including publishing and displaying them publicly. CLIENT WARRANTS THAT IT HAS AUTHORITY TO AGREE TO THE USE OF THE LIKENESS OF ALL PERSONS IN THE IMAGES IN THIS MANNER AND SHALL INDEMNIFY THE COMPANY ACCORDINGLY.

Limitation of liability; waiver

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT, WILL THE COMPANY, ITS EMPLOYEES, MANAGERS, OFFICERS OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO THE CLIENT FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, ECONOMIC, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES) RELATED TO: (A) THE PHOTO BOOTH SERVICE; (B) ANY ACTION TAKEN IN CONNECTION WITH COPYRIGHT OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, PUBLICITY, CONFIDENTIALITY, PROPERTY OR PRIVACY RIGHTS; (C) ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN THE SERVICE'S OPERATION; OR (D) ANY DAMAGE TO ANY USER'S DEVICE OR EQUIPMENT. IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE EXCLUSIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO THE CLIENT. CLIENT AGREES TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE COMPANY, ITS EMPLOYEES, MANAGERS, OFFICERS AND AGENTS HARMLESS FROM ANY CLAIMS, LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES AND EXPENSES, INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEY'S FEES, ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE ABOVE, INCLUDING THE MODEL RELEASE.

Miscellaneous

If Company cannot supply a working photo booth for at least 80% of the service period, Client is refunded a prorated amount based on service received; if no service is received, Company's maximum liability is the return of all payments. Before commencing any action, the parties will meet in a good-faith attempt to resolve differences, and failing that submit the dispute to a neutral mediator. The parties agree to the jurisdiction, venue and choice of law of the Company's principal place of business.

All sales are final

Client understands and agrees that all sales and service fees are final.
